Apple's Let's Rock Event

Apple had their Let's Rock Event yesterday. While most of the late predictions came true, there were some surprises. I'm excited about the new Nanos since I was thinking of getting a new one soon anyway. My headphone jack is kind of worn out and now I don't hear clean music through my nano anymore. I'm also excited to use the new iTunes 8. I'm just starting to play with it now since I downloaded it last night. OK, well here's a ton more info if you're interested.

a new Ghostbusters movie

Who you gonna call? Ray Parker Jr. may be busy again since Sony is readying a reboot of the Ghostbusters movie franchise. It could be fun. Here's an article.

Check out this article. Yet another positive nod for DVR's. I would say that 90% more people enjoy their TiVo's more than a cable DVR. I know I did. But check out the article.

buffy the vampire slayer animated

This sounds like it could be a fun idea for an animated series. I'd check it out. Right now, it's just an idea. It was leaked on youtube a few weeks ago. HMM.... Maybe Joss Whedon is thinking more about it or it's just a dead project so they figured why not show everyone what it was. This was apparently a pilot that was shown to industry execs a few years ago, but they all passed.
